For the third time since its inception in 2010, the 3rd Young Changemakers Conclave will be held in New Delhi on 19th January 2013 at The Indian Society of International Law, Bhagwan Dass Road. The event is organized by the United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan. The event provides the young minds of the country with a platform to interact and communicate with known personalities from the fields of politics, business, literature, media, sports and social activism. The objective of the conference is to ensure social impact by discussions and conversations. The theme for 2013 event is ‘Sustainable Development: Do More – Rest Less’, through which the aim is to explore how India’s vibrant young population can contribute towards achieving an ‘all inclusive’ and sustainable growth.

The event will be adorned by eminent speakers like Mr.Omar Abdullah, Honourable Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir; Anurag Thakur, Member of Parliament, Hamripur; Anurag Batra, Founder, Exchange4Media Group; Mahesh Mathai, Founder, Blue Frog; Ravi Shivshankar, Executive Director, Headlines Today; Ramita Vig, President, AIESEC India; Suhel Seth, Managing Director of Counselage India; Ishita Chaudary, CEO and Founder, YP Foundation; Narayan Krishnan, Founder, Akshaya Trust; Varun Agarwal, Founder Alma Mater; Unmukt Chand, Captain, U-19 Cricket Team; Poonam Saxena, Editor HT Brunch; Chakshu Roy,Head, Technology Initiatives at PRS Legislative Research. AIESEC in Delhi University is the Youth Outreach Partner and MUN India is the intellectual partner for the conference.

The event is aimed to bring dialogue on Sustainable Development and encourage youth participation to take initiative in framing the future of the country. The occasion intends to ignite the spark of youth ideas for holistic development of the society.
