The Annual Economics Academic meet ‘Econvista’ has evolved! It’s bigger, better and it’s going national with almost 200 participants this year! 

This two-day extravaganza promises to be a one-of-a-kind as budding economists assemble together for the largest meet one has ever witnessed. This event will enable the students to break away from their routine learning in order to expand their knowledge and skills. The National symposium with the theme: Economic Reforms and the Millennium Development Goalspromises to challenge some of the brightest minds of Delhi University, making it an enriching experience.

Dr. Saroj Gupta Memorial Paper Presentation - Analyze the global effectiveness of global policy making with respect to the UN’s Millennium Development Goals (MDGS).

Eco-Nima(Documentary Making) – broaden your knowledge in the field of Economics and unleash your creativity through the medium of movie making.

The Interactive Events include Thinkanomics(just-a-minute), Economystery (treasure hunt) and The Animated Economy.

The symposium begins with some great guest lectures by imminent personalities in their field of work such as:

Dr. Isher Judge Ahluwalia: Dr Ahluwalia is a Member of the Eminent Persons Group of India-ASEAN, Vice Chairperson, Global Development Network, New Delhi and Member, Board of Trustees of the International Water Management Institute, Sri Lanka. She won the Padma Bhushan in 2009 for Literature and Education by the government of India.

Harsh Mander: Harsh Mander is an Indian social activist and writer. He came into prominence
after 2002 Gujarat riots and heads "Aman Biradari" which work for communal harmony. 

Dr. Mihir Shah:Mihir Shah is a renowned Indian Economist, policy maker and social worker. He is currently the member of the Planning Commission of India and is the youngest ever member and the first ever from the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
