The Economics Society of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College will be organizing the Model World Trade Organization Conference on 23rdand 24th of January as a part of the Annual Economics Festival ‘Econotize 2013’. It will be a simulation of the WTO with students representing the delegate of the participating countries to discuss the trade relations. The WTO is known to stimulate trade and liberalism in the world and has been implementing and monitoring trade negotiations, dispute settlements and building trade capacity. The conference will be reviewing the trade policy with emphasis on least developing country, as the agenda. The procedurals will follow the lines of an MUN. It seems a ‘not to be missed’ opportunity for researchers, orators and economics lovers.
