Medina, a three day fest organised by Ibtida, the dramatics society of Hindu College saw a huge and cheerful crowd on its second day.
The day began with the event Qisa-i-Ibtida, where five colleges namely Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Ramjas, Hansraj and Hindu colleges staged their plays. Even though it wasn't a competition some performances stood out and they were given awards in several categories.The best director was awarded to LSR for their play Attempts on her life, best actor was bagged by Ramjas college for their awesome play Saints and Sinners and the best stage design went to the organising college itself for What the Hell.

There were other events like And Mad, Scene parody and the interesting Filmy Chakkar to enhance the fest and it attracted a large junk of people. The side events of the fest ensured participation by one and all.
The main event Qisa-i-ibtida fascinated most of the students and it was a full house only in a few minutes. All the colleges staged plays based on varied themes. The second day turned out to be successful and enthusiactic and ended on a happy note.
Medina 2013, still has a lot to offer on their third day of the grand Alumni Dinner. This will be a cheerful and amazing time of the year where the memories will be refreshed and old bonds renewed with smiling faces remembering their good old college days.
